INSTRUCTIONS

Task 1 - Social Media Analytics

Using Google Analytics, we were to select a total of 15 categories & analyze them.

Task 2 & 3 - Content Ideation & Content Planning

Using Google sheet, my team delegated & brainstormed ideas for the client that we were assigned to from our lecturer. We used the same sheet to include the detailed ideas for the next task which is executing the designs.

Final Project - Pitch Deck & Design Application & Development

We mainly use Canva to edit the posts, while using other software for video editing such as Capcut or Premiere Pro.  The Canva slides also consist of the color palette & fonts that my team decided to use for the content designs, as seen on the first page for the link.

Final Submission

Below is the final compilation of all the finalized designs.

FEEDBACK

Week 6
Specific Feedback
- Week 2 informative post would be better if it's separated to one point for each page so it wouldn't look so text-filled

Week 8
Specific Feedback
- Week 3 video should change the layout (could include the color palette itself) to showcase the colors more clearly
- Week 4 informative post should change to something else like (what makes contemporary interior design) as the current one doesn't really make sense

REFLECTIONS

Experience
Week 2-3 : I have not used Google Analytics before so it was a new experience trying to understand how to use it.
Week 4-5 : Content planning & brainstorming aren't as hard at the start, & it was for an interior design company so we weren't too unfamiliar with what type of content could be fitting.
Week 6-12 : This phase was relatively easier since we had every detail written on the Google sheet, as well as the experience from whatever we've been doing in the previous modules.

Observations
Week 2-3 : Google Analytics can provide a lot of details about users, which I see how it'll be useful to business owners/management.
Week 4-5 : The beginning parts/weeks were easier & quick to brainstorm, but the later 1-2 weeks were getting a bit tough as we had good ideas but required site visits or real-life filming which could be difficult if the client isn't able to let us visit.
Week 6-12 : Since we established the color palette & fonts at the start along with the art direction, this makes things easier for us to be efficient when designing the layout. It was only the minor changes we had to make from the feedback given by the client/lecturer.

Findings
Week 2-3 : There's a short description to explain what each category does, so it helped provide a better understanding of what the data means.
Week 4-5 : Looking through other social media accounts that are also interior design companies helped us to create more content for our client. Along with the help of our client if they had anything they wished to include in our content sheet.
Week 6-12 : Our lecturer helped to provide some good ideas when we were having issues trying to complete the final few post designs, along with ensuring our posts are of a good standard to show the client.
