REFLECTIONS
Experience
Having done the digital photography module, the experience I've gained from there helped a lot throughout the completion of this module. The editing process for all the assignment/tasks were actually the easier bits, what I found to be more difficult was the filming process. The first few tasks & exercises were a good way to gain experience on how to film videos nicely, with proper technique & good advices/tips. I have basic knowledge & experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, which allowed me to be able to complete most of the tasks without any major problems. Adobe Audition was a new application that I've not used before, so there were a few difficulties & mistakes made throughout the semester.
Observations
Overall this module provided a lot of good experience & memories, as this was the only one that provided group works. I was able to have fun with my other classmates & friends, while learning & fun things in the field of video making/filming. As most of the works/assignments were using the same application, the work difficulty for all of them weren't that hard. This made the experience quite enjoyable, although there were times that can be a bit frustrating since Adobe Audition was something I had no experience in. The only few times that I've felt frustrated/annoyed was when the exporting part had issues, since it could've cost me a lot of time to potentially redo them.
Findings
Throughout this entire module, I've used Google, lecturer notes, or asking others for help whenever I had an issue during the editing/filming process. As there a lot of videos on YouTube made by other experienced users/professionals, it proved to be a very useful & helpful platform for me to search for guides as a reference.
